Shannon Hurvitz is our resident Podiatrist.

Shannon is an Australian-educated, South African born podiatrist. Graduating from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Medical Science with a Masters in Podiatric Medicine Shannon. He is our Principal podiatrist at Kensington Physiotherapy. Prior to Joining the team 6 years ago, Shannon served as trainee at clinics in Geelong and Condobolin, and various public & private clinics across Sydney. He has also worked on staff with the Super league football side – Hakoah Football Club.

Shannon has an interest in all aspect of Podiatry, with a particular interest in Human Locomotion (Human movement) Paediatrics (Podiatry for Children), Sports-related Podiatry and Minor Surgery. Shannon is trained in Injection therapy, Dry Needling (Acupuncture) and the management of sports-related injuries.

Shannon grew up in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, attending Moriah College from primary through to high school. He is an avid Roosters & Waratahs supporter and generally enjoys sports of all kinds, particularly rugby and soccer.

Kensington Physiotherapy is a multidisciplinary practice including Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Massage Therapists, and Dieticians. We work closely with other healthcare practitioners in the community such as General Practitioners, Sports Physicians, and Orthopaedic Consultants.
