Shannon Hurvitz is our resident Podiatrist.
Shannon is an Australian-educated, South African born podiatrist recently graduating from a Bachelor of Medical Science with a Masters in Podiatric Medicine from Western Sydney University. Prior to joining the Kensington team, Shannon served as trainee at clinics in Geelong and Condoblin, and various public & private clinics across Sydney. He has also worked on staff with the Super league football side – Hakoah Football Club.
Shannon is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and uses a variety of techniques including advanced dry needling, targeted exercise, taping, and fitting devices in combination for management of all types of foot conditions. He draws on his own experience as a long distance runner and managing his own injuries to understand and treat clients as a whole.
Shannon grew up in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, attending Moriah College from primary through to high school. He is an avid Roosters & Waratahs supporter and generally enjoys sports of all kind, particularly basketball, rugby and soccer.
